DC-->PGH-->NYC

Updated: Aug 11, 2022

Feels good to be home! April's premiere performance of English with an Accent down in DC was a sold-out hit. We filled the room at Gala Hispanic Theater, and Migguel brought the house down. The production is preparing for its world premiere at Lincoln Center this fall!

After EWAA, I spent a couple of months at the Pittsburgh Public Theater with the great Justin Emeka and Ruby Fludzinski, working on a production of Two Trains Running. My connection to Justin and The Pittsburgh Public Theater started over the pandemic, thanks to virtual theatre and the stellar Bianca LaVerne Jones. It was an incredible experience building and delivering August Wilson's brilliant play in the very city he lived and wrote about.

But if distance makes the heart grow fonder, I was a million miles away from home. Eight weeks after DC, I made it back to NYC, to my apartment, my family. Refreshed and restored, I dove back in, ASMing my first large-scale Off-Broadway Musical.

Weeeee!
